The candidate you select remains an employee of Specialty Personnel Services, Inc, so your costs to maintain additional staff are reduced. You do not need a Human Resources or Personnel Department as we handle all personnel issues.
We also cover the employer's share of Social Security and Medicare Taxes, Federal and State Employment Taxes, as well as Unemployment Insurance. We charge an hourly rate based on your company's workers compensation classification and you have no other work to do.
This is also a very cost-effective way to preview an employee's work ethic, dependability, capabilities and performance on the job prior to adding them to your permanent payroll. As you do not commit to any minimum number of hours, you can hire workers through us for your busy season and let them go when the season ends without having to put them on your benefit plans. If you are not satisfied with an employee, all you have to do is call us and we will dismiss them from your team and find a suitable replacement.
After 90 days our employees may be rolled on to your payroll at any time. Prior to 90 days there is a rollover fee. You may also send people who directly apply to you through our service in order to check their capabilities and performance on the job or if you wish to hire them temporarily. We will charge the same rate and take care of the worker's comp and taxes. If you later wish to hire this person permanently, there is no charge for placement regardless of the number of days worked.
It is important to note that you are in control of the employee's hours, days of work, etc. We do not impose any minimum number of hours or days per week. We can supply you with potential employees for whatever type of work you are offering.
